The history of High Plains Concessions begins in 2006 when we began offering to the public our proprietary Cinnamon Roasted Nuts, appearing mostly at our local Farmer's Market. We have grown, by stages, since then into a much larger, more ambitious operation. We are now involved in more than forty annual events and bring our popular cuisine to people all over this region of the United States.
At High Plains Concessions, it is our mission to provide uncommonly delicious entrées to the public with the purpose of enhancing their experience at your event.
This website, launched in January 2012, is going to allow us to have a lot of fun! We can showcase our videos, display customer photos and produce LIVE WEBCASTS from our events!
This summer we will be offering a variety of steamed vegetables to accompany our other items. One of our frequent customer comments is: "I can't believe this is fair food!"
This marks the first year that we will be going on "tour". We won't be bringing the fleet home between events; staying on the road instead, going from venue to venue.
We are proud to announce our membership in the Rocky Mountain Association of Fairs.
Cajun meets Big Sky! Our most popular entrée has delighted crowds since it's creation in 2009. Following a traditional Bourbon Chicken recipe, four ounce chicken thighs are marinated for 24 hours in soy sauce, brown sugar, bourbon and various spices before being skewered and grilled over an open flame. Finally, they are finished with a bourbon glaze just before serving.
Jasmine Rice and Bourbon Chicken were made for each other. This steamed Thai rice is deliciously unique in flavor, and exotic in texture. We serve it with a Bourbon Chicken Skewer and drizzle it with our special Bourbon sauce.
They're winning fans everywhere. Six ounces of boneless pork loin are lightly marinated in our special combination of spices and seasonings to enhance the natural pork flavor. We believe we have created the ultimate pork chop, especially when skewered and grilled over an open flame.
Each entree is carefully prepared using only fresh ingredients. We make no use of pre-cooked or previously prepared items. Cooking from scratch ensures that our cuisine has a deliciously fresh flavor that is exclusively ours.
